Uncovering the Value in Textile Waste
Professor Xungai Wang is Chair Professor of Fiber Science and Technology at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). He serves as the Associate Dean of the School of Fashion and Textiles at PolyU and the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of the Textile Institute. He is a Fellow of the Textile Institute (FTI) and a recipient of the Fiber Society Distinguished Achievement Award. Previously, Professor Wang served as Pro Vice-chancellor (Future Fibers) at Deakin University, Australia. Professor Wang’s current research interest is in the broad area of functional and sustainable fibers and textiles.
