Dear Colleagues,

It is an honor to invite you to the international scientific event “20th Romanian Textiles and Leather Conference” – CORTEP 2026 which will take place in Iași, Romania, on November 05-07, 2026, combining live (on-site) and virtual (on-line) presentations and participation.

The Romanian Textiles and Leather Conference CORTEP 2026 is a major international scientific event organized by the Faculty of Industrial Design and Business Management of the “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iasi, Romania.

The conference offers specialists and managers from the textile, clothing, leather and footwear industry (TCLF) as well as from entrepreneurship and business a platform for the exchange of knowledge, new ideas and experiences as well as an insight into the latest developments and the current state of research.

CORTEP 2026 will be the third edition of the conference for which the accepted papers will be published as Open Access Proceedings by „Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iasi in partnership with Paradigm Publishing Services and indexed in various databases.

The key figures of the latest edition of the conference proceedings include 144 participants from 21 countries attending the event; 40 reviewers from 10 countries were involved in the review process; the published open-access volume contains 88 scientific contributions by 174 authors from 21 countries.
